Almost through the first week of the year
We’ve almost completed one full week of 20-10… And I have not “done any men” yet!
Thanks for the supportive comments on yesterdays post, you guys RULE! I guess what I’m trying to figure out is in which direction my life in going in.
Big day here if you care about college football… sadly I do not, so just a normal Thursday for me.
I feel so bad, I received an email from one of you out there, and they discovered their mate was cheating on them. That pain and betrayal is so horrible, I wish I could give you a hug… So you’ll just have to consider this a virtual hug from me (and to anyone else out there that needs one!)
I admire you if you made it through The People’s Choice Awards last night… They were pretty terrible. In a time when most other awards shows are actually getting better, the People’s Choice continues to get worse…. They actually forced me to change the channel to Leno, you know it’s bad when I pick Leno over it.
In sickness, health and recycling. Hero mayor. This is a sad safari. I love that he tried to flee on the Walmart scooter. I think I was married to her. They’re in the cave!?!? Watch for falling lizards. A little black and white in SD. Sing along: Girls just wanna rob banks. Sorry you’ve gotta go.
Rock On, Jack

Hey Jack,
I made it unitl Sandra Bullock’s acceptance speech for her win and then I gave up. I liked Queen Latifah’s opening number. I loved listening to Mary J. Blige singing. Mariah Carey seemed “altered” (I think that’s the most pc I can be). The rest (if there was any) is a blur.
I so hope you find the niche in the employment race, Jack. It is so difficult to imagine where to fit when you’ve been in one industry for so long. You have so many talents that I almost think you might fit into a different field just as easily. Or maybe a different facet of entertainment all together. You’ve made some very thoughtful posts; you’re really good on the podcasts. I just know good things have to be out there for you.
Until then, I’ll keep good thoughts and prayers for you.
Cheers!

Jack,
I’m a very long time listener, actually I’ve listened from the very day of Jamie, Frosty and Frank, till the very end. I have never written in this is my first time. I’m responding to your blog Who am I? If you truly want for things to get better in your life, you need to let go of everything that is keeping you from moving forward. Radio, if its so up in the air then perhaps its time to let it go and move on the something else. Your marriage and all that has hurt you in that marriage make peace with it and move on. You say that you don’t know what do with your life well stop sulking and start writing! You are a great writer. You have a great deal of talent in this area I absolutely love reading your blogs. If you could figure out a way to put your blogs into a book as I believe someone has suggested I would buy that book for sure. You have a niche its writing. Accept this as your gift and use it to its fullest potential. When you write there’s this great deal of vulnerability to you and it draws people in. Some stories that come to mind are The camera, the couch, When you shared about your suicide attempt. I know there are others but these are a few that came to my mind. Please please please pursue your writing! This is who you are you are a writer.
Sincerely,
CeeJaye

Jack
Like the person above me, I have listened since Jamie, Frosty & Frank, no show w as as good as Jamie, Jack & Stench though! When theytook your show out of Denver, all the loyal listeners out here found ways to keep listening. I agree with CeeJaye about your career future, you definitely are a super talented writer, I don’t think you realize what a gift that is. When we read your blogs, we can visualize it all through your eyes, like we were living it! That is truly the sign of a GIFTED WRITER. Now – how do you pursue getting your works published? Magazines? Children’s magazines? There are so many subjects that you are good at writing about….. Try networking online with other authors….what about becoming a blogger for the city or state? You seem to know your history and landmarks pretty good. I bet nobody can write about it like you could! Send them a sample or two….there are professional bloggers out there making money. Isn’t that the whole secret of work? To find something you are good at and that you love doing, then figure out a way to get paid for it!
I am sending you a Virtual Hug, embrace it! We can’t get enough of your writing!

Write. Professional paid blogger or author? Its been said countless times… today and yesterday and for more than a year, but you seem to brush it off….why?
And this suggestion has also been made… work with children in some way? You would be good at it and probably would enjoy it too. Be a teacher or mentor or children’s writer? Something like that. Go in a totally different direction!
