The Best Holiday Of The Year

Happy 4th of July!!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

I know I have said it here before, but 4th Of July is the best holiday of the year… It is all about sun, fun and fireworks, what more could you want!?!?  Needless to say I am excited for my favorite to roll around again… I will be doing all those things I just mentioned, swimming, BBQ and watching stuff explode!  The kind people at Adlen’s Sundials sent me a summer fun pack to enjoy over the holiday.  They claim: “with Adlens Sundials  you can see up close, into the distance and all around you, at the turn of a dial. These sunglasses can instantly go from poolside readers to longer distance glasses, perfect for a game of beach volleyball or tennis!”…  I tested them out and they are pretty awesome, especially if you’re a little older like me! You can just twist until what you’re looking at is in focus, that simple.  I highly recommend these for reading around the pool… and then maybe actually taking a dip!

Bing and I were out at the races last weekend… The Indy Car races!  This was our second race this year and we both really enjoyed it (despite the Florida like humidity!!!)  It is so amazing to get to share things the kids are super interested in with them (And sometimes terrifying seeing as Lucy is into sharks!) Again keep an eye out for email deals, Bing and I were able to get a pair of race tickets, pit/garage passes and scanner rental for a really great price!

I know much of L.A. gets annoyed when the President comes to town… I personally think it is pretty cool to get to see the POTUS in town (although I have never actually seen him, I have viewed his limo entourage drive by my house and Marine One fly over.)  A week or two ago I caught him flying by the Hollywood Sign from my office window and I thought the phto was kind of cool so I thought I would share it again here.

I’m going to keep this short… We all have 4th of July celebrating to get to!  Here’s some music I’m digging this week:

Kaleo – “All The Pretty Girls”

Calexico – “Falling From The Sky”

Failure – “Hot Traveler”

In The Valley Below – “Peaches”

Have a Wonderful/Safe Fourth Of July!!!!!!

Rock On, Jack
