Craig Shoemaker..

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

Is trying to get more views for a video he made, so I thought I’d re-post it for him.  He’s always been great to Stretch and me.

2 Days

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

OK, I know I’ve been harping on it, but Tuesday Stretch and I will be at The Bob’s Big Boy in Sun Valley… It’s Happy Hour and a live broadcast, should be a lot of fun! (11/17/2009 6-10p – 8274 Sunland Blvd, Sun Valley , California  92353)

Craig Shoemaker was really great Friday night, rumor has it he’ll be hosting his own show on CRN soon… I’ll post as soon as I know all the details.

The kids and I had a fun weekend.  Saturday we played a little tennis with Grandma and Wendy…  Well, most of us payed tennis, Bing mainly ran around the court collecting the balls which he would then lay claim too and not allow anyone to play with them.  Lucy really enjoyed playing, as soon as I get a job I’m going to get here into classes… I took lessons when I was a kid, I even remember my teachers name, Daisy Wong.  I hit a few serves, I was surprised I could hit it as well as I did. Sunday we met my Cousin and some of her friends at The La Brea Tar Pits… We didn’t know when we decided to go there, but there was a huge dog adoption fair going on which turned out to be a lot of fun.  Lucy got to do some hula-hooping , which she really enjoyed. ( Thanks to Hoop Kitty!)  Although it was kind of a bummer to see so many dogs that needed homes… Lucy really wanted to get one, and I would have if I could have.

I’ll post more at you soon!  Have a great week!

Oh ya, new photos posted on facebook.

Birthday Weekend

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

My babies get a year older this weekend…  I get to hang out with them on Sunday (Bing’s birthday), so I’m looking forward to that!

We’ve have a lot going on in podcast/CRN world lately.  Next Friday will be hosting the 10:30pm Craig Shoemaker show at the Ice House in Pasadena….  Which is really cool, because he is extremely funny!  On Tuesday November 17th well be hanging at Bob’s Big Boy in Sun Valley.  We’ll be enjoying happy hour from 6-8p and then broadcasting live from 8-10p.

Tonight on the CRN we had Vikki Ziegler in studio, she is a very successful family law attorney.  She was really fun to have on, she was intelligent and had a great sense of humor, she was in town for some television meetings, so hopefully we’ll see her on TV soon.  She also has a dating site for divorced people that she created, It’s currently free, so if your divorced and interested in dating check it out – divorcedating.com .

I apologize again for not being in much of a blogging mood this week, I’ve just been kind of bummed.  I’m so sick of being unemployed and all the problems that come along with it…  I would like to go back to the good old days where I go to work everyday and then they give me a paycheck… Or at least I think that’s how it works, it’s been a long time since I’ve done it.

Ethan’s show was excellent last night.  I highly recommend checking him out next time he plays.  Thanks to Kevin, Denise and Tomas for coming out to Hollywood and hanging out.

I am excited that the CRN is letting me take a more active role in things, I really feel like it has so much potential, we just have to hip some things up.  I think it’s cool that they have started running Air America programming this week on CRN 4 (it’s Liberal talk radio…  Which includes a show hosted by Chuck D)… Don’t worry Stretch, there’s plenty of right wing stuff on their other channels.

I’ve been thinking a lot about my marriage lately, and the aftermath.  It is so weird how you can love someone and think you know them, only to find out you didn’t really know them at all.  When start a relationship, you not only give your heart, but your trust… I think it is easier to heal the broken heart than it is to trust someone again.  It is sad to live your life wondering what is hidden, what is there that lies beneath the surface, but that is what you are left doing after a divorce.

This is not how newlyweds are supposed to act.  Little maniac.  Was it the CRN van? I’m not alone.  She should not be driving!  I’m glad it wasn’t our buddy Chris Judd.  Gotta get to court.  Another happy newlywed.  Guess who’s not going to win the Good Sport Award?

Have a great weekend!!!

Winter is…

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

Around the corner, you can feel it.  It was hot today, but it was cold this morning… I know we don’t really get cold weather, I guess I mean cold for us!

Craig Shoemaker was great on the CRN show last night, and it was fun to get a guest to come in… I miss that from the old radio day, actually having the people you’re talking too sitting across from you.  He’s at the Jon Lovitz comedy club this weekend, if you’re looking for something fun to do I highly recommend seeing him!

Maybe it’s just me, but things are moving too slowly!  They say the recession is turning around, things are looking up… But I still know a lot of people struggling, out of work and feeling hopeless.  Although, even I have to admit (At least for me), this year has been better than last year.

The kids come over tomorrow, it seems like forever since I have seen them.  Lucy is excited, Angela Channel is taking them to see some spider thing at the Natural History Museum.  And we’re going to the pumpkin patch… So it’s going to be an eventful weekend.

Sounds like a Mom-a-duce to me.  My BPD is in trouble!  And the super scum bag of the day award goes too.  Strawberry, strawberry, toe!  Llama on the lamb.  Way to gnaw through that bag!  I like that the wife turned him in.  He kind of looks like Stretch.  I say abuse. Booze will save us all.  And finally, this is one badass Grandma!

Sheepless In NoHo

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I took the mystery sheep to the office today… Which got the guys in there speculating on where it could have came from.  This is like a Scooby Doo mystery…. without meddling kids, a cool van or a ruthless landowner disguised as a ghost.  We my never know where it came from?

Craig Shoemaker is going to be in studio with us tonight, it’s cool he was willing to come to Sun-Land.

I’ve been putting off cleaning the tub, I like vacuuming but not the Soft Scrub.  I need to find someone who loves to scrub as much as I love to suck… Wait, that doesn’t sound right.

The Pierce College Pumpkin Patch opens this weekend, the kids are more than a little excited.  Lucy took me that she “wished everyday was Halloween”. (Which instantly reminded me of Ministry “Everyday is Halloween”)  Bing is still torn between Strawberry and Dragon, but Lucy is dead set on Shark.

Double gross. Now starring in Easy Swine Flu.  And Stretch thought he killed a bunch of rats.  Sun sets on Saturn.   It only took 40 years to catch him.   Fire near Santa Barbara.  It wasn’t even our fault! What’s the resale value of butt cream and diapers?
